Aquarium is looking forward to welcoming visitors over New Year holidays

During the New Year holidays, the Primorsky Aquarium will operate on a special schedule. The institution will be closed only on December 31 and January 1. Then the exhibits and Dolphinarium of Russia’s largest aquarium will be open to the public daily from January 2 to January 9, including Monday, January 3.

Throughout the holidays, the demonstration of marine mammals’ skills will be held at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Please note that limited tickets are available and pre-purchase is required as the Dolphinarium is currently running at half capacity with checkerboard seating. Tickets go on sale a week prior to each date.

Every day at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., you will be able to watch charming Baikal seals being trained. On January 2 and 7, you will have the opportunity to attend the touch tank feeding in the Sea of Japan/East Sea exhibit at 2 p. m. and ask your questions to the Aquarium’s biologists.

The Dancing with Rays program, which is very popular among our guests, will be conducted daily at 12:30 p.m., except for January 3, because Monday is a fasting day for our sharks and rays, regardless of holidays.
