Find Yourself youth sports festival participants visit Primorsky Aquarium
A special tour for secondary school students from Nizhny Novgorod, Tula, Vladimir and Torez (Donetsk People’s Republic, the sister city of Vladivostok) took place at the Primorsky Aquarium on September 16. Elvira Shamonova, Primorsky Krai Minister of Education, had a meeting with the students and accompanied them on the tour organized by the Education Department of the Primorsky Aquarium.
Lev Ras’kin, Tula, “I enjoyed it here: so colorful, so fascinating! The Evolution of Ocean Life part of the tour really impressed me: the models of prehistoric animals were so lifelike! I had a passion for dinosaurs as a young child. The Ocean Abyss tank was fabulous, too. I’d like to see the creatures that will be discovered in the future. Only 5-10% of the ocean depths have been explored, and I’m eager to know what else is there.”
The visit to the Primorsky Aquarium was just one event from of a diverse itinerary of the Find Yourself youth sports festival, which was conducted in Vladivostok on September 17-18. The festival welcomed guests from outside the region, as well as members of sports, creativity, and other social activity clubs from Primorsky Krai.
