The Aquarium participates in an international environmental initiative
The Primorsky Aquarium has joined Earth Hour, a global environmental event. On March 27, the exterior and landscape lighting of the scientific and educational center was turned off for one hour - from 8:30 p.m. till 9:30 p.m.
Begun in 2007, Earth Hour is the world’s most widely celebrated environmental event, with millions of people from 180 countries taking part in it annually. This grand-scale initiative aims to raise awareness about the necessity of stewardship of nature and the planet’s resources. In 2021, Earth Hour is devoted to openness of information on the environment.
