The Primorsky Aquarium looks forward to welcoming guests during New Year holidays
Over the New Year holidays, the Primorsky Aquarium will operate on a special schedule. The facility will be closed on December 31 and January 1. Throughout the rest of the holidays — from January 2 to January 10 — the Aquarium will be open to the public daily, including Monday, January 4: the maintenance activities, which are usually conducted on this weekday, will be cancelled. The exhibits of one of the world’s largest aquariums will be available to visitors from 10 a.m. till 8 p.m.
During the Aquarium’s operating days, you can attend open training sessions with marine mammals in the Dolphinarium at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Dolphins, white whales and a public favourite — Misha the walrus — will await guests in the aquatic stadium.
It is equally exciting to watch Baikal seals being trained. The sessions take place in the exhibit devoted to Lake Baikal at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. And do not miss a Humboldt penguin feeding at 4 p.m. (at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, January 8).
The Dancing with Rays program, well-liked by many visitors to the Primorsky Aquarium, will be held as well. You will be able to see the graceful predators performing their unique dance routines at 12:30 p.m. every day, except for January 4, since Monday is a fasting day for our sharks and rays.
