04.02.2023 – Are you a coastal dweller? Be mari-cultured!
Cultivation of fish, molluscs, algae and even pearls on special marine farms is referred to as mariculture. In fact, it is farming in seawater, which has a lot of advantages, including ecological ones, when compared with agronomy and animal husbandry. To explain to the public what mariculture is and why it is so important to our region, we have decided to make it the theme of this year’s celebration of Russian Science Day at our facility.

Biology workshops have been conducted in the learning labs of the Primorsky Aquarium for teenagers interested in teaching and psychology and taking part in the Chasing the Future educational program.

During a working trip to Vladivostok, visitors from Moscow held a series of meetings with their counterparts at the Primorsky Aquarium, discussed possible areas of mutual cooperation and exchanged their experience in organizational work and animal training.
28.10.2022 – FEFU students present environmental trail projects for Primorsky Aquarium
On October 19th, the ecology students of the Far-Eastern Federal University presented the results of their internship program, the projects of the Primorsky Aquarium grounds development, including environmental trails, to Aquarium staff.
20.10.2022 – Children with special education needs attend Primorsky Aquarium
On October 12, students from the Arsenyev Special Education School were given an educational tour of the facility as part of a charity project run by the Primorsky Aquarium.
14.10.2022 – Primorsky Aquarium appears on the pages of The Book of the City
Participants of the all-Russian The Book of the City project have visited the Primorsky Aquarium. This local history and literature project shows unique features of various cities seen through the eyes of the children living there.
19.09.2022 – Find Yourself youth sports festival participants visit Primorsky Aquarium
A special tour for secondary school students from Nizhny Novgorod, Tula, Vladimir and Torez (Donetsk People’s Republic, the sister city of Vladivostok) took place at the Primorsky Aquarium on September 16. The visit to the Primorsky Aquarium was organized within the cultural program of the Find Yourself youth sports festival, which was conducted in Vladivostok on September 17-18.
18.09.2022 – Primorsky Aquarium hosts delegation of young scientists from Belarus
During its official visit to Vladivostok, the Council of Young Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB) visited the Primorsky Aquarium to meet with young scientists from the A. V. Zhirmunsky National Scientific Center of Marine Biology, Far Eastern Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences (NSCMB FEB RAS).
15.09.2022 – EEF Junior participants visit Primorsky Aquarium
Sixty teenagers from all over Russia, participants of the EEF (Eastern Economic Forum) Junior-2022, came to visit the scientific and educational complex Primorsky Aquarium on September 6th.
